CV
Research focus: Sports neuroscience, sleep electrophysiology, auditory sleep modulation, neurorehabilitation, sports medicine.
Short Description: My research lies at the intersection of neuroscience, sleep medicine, sports medicine, and neurorehabilitation, with a particular focus on performance, recovery, and long-term brain health in youth and elite football. My current work examines how sleep and auditory deep sleep modulation may support neurocognitive recovery, brain function, and long-term neurological outcomes after mild traumatic brain injury and repetitive sub-concussive head impacts in children and adolescents. My previous work has also investigated the effects of auditory deep sleep modulation on cardiac autonomic functions, hormonal markers, and cardiovascular dynamics during sleep.
