Research focus: sleep electrophysiology, machine learning, auditory stimulation, NREM parasomnias
Short Description: My PhD develops machine learning methods for the real-time analysis of high-density sleep EEG. The goal is to automatically predict functionally distinct slow-wave subtypes and integrate them into a closed-loop system that targets auditory stimulation more precisely.
In collaboration with the Neurocenter Lugano, I also investigate the underlying brain dynamics in NREM parasomnias.
