Another key focus was employee satisfaction in the research sector. In this context, participants discussed how to conduct an employee survey. The discussion centered on both the formulation of questions to be submitted by the individual research groups and the key issues that should be the focus of the survey.

In addition, substantive ideas were explored in greater depth, particularly the possibility of a cross-group research project within the KJPP. Potential topics and suitable funding mechanisms were discussed. Furthermore, insights were provided through expert presentations on methodologies and current research topics, including those delivered by external speakers.

Insights from the retreat

KJPP research is characterized by its great diversity and broad methodological and thematic expertise. The various research groups focus on a wide range of disorders and possess a comprehensive body of knowledge.

At the same time, there was a clear desire for greater collaboration—both among individual research groups and between clinical and basic research. The need for more exchange and a shared vision for research was clearly articulated.

In addition, initial ideas were developed for an employee survey and for a cross-departmental research project.
