The Autism Specialist Unit of the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Psychotherapy (KJP) of the Psychiatric University Hospital and University of Zurich is the oldest psychiatric autism specialist unit in Switzerland. For more than 20 years, the Autism Specialist Centre of the KJPP Zurich has ensured that children with ASD living in the Canton of Zurich have improved development opportunities, relieved the burden on parents and saved high follow-up costs later on.
